Thursday

Snoozed alarm 3 times then turned it off and ended up oversleeping. 8:18 am just getting out of bed to get ready for work. No time to cook breakfast so a grapefruit and a plum with tea it is. Got to work at 9:01 not so bad if I may say so myself. I need gas (Im not on E but I don't take gas risks) but no time to stop so hopefully tomorrow I remember to wake up on time

12:05 p.m. My belly is growling, head tingling it's definitely lunch time. I brought lunch, a Turkey burger (not sandwich, no bread) and salad. I drink water from work. I still feel a little hungry so I eat some peanuts that I brought from home.

6:05 p.m. My grammy for the win. She made peas soup and dough for dinner! :)

Daily total $0

Friday

8:05 a.m. I didn't turn off the alarm this morning because I remember I need gas and they say it's better to get it when it's cool in the morning so before work it is. I'm not really a big breakfast person so today it's going to be 2 boiled eggs since I have a slight headache and fruit with tea when I get to the office.

8:53 a.m. Leaving early didn't work out how I wanted but still going for gas. I eat the eggs in the car of course can't stink up the office this early. Gas total $35.39.

12:35 p.m. Just got out of a very long staff meeting and I'm ready for the leftover peas soup. You know it just taste better the next day.

3:15 p.m. Stopped to the food store on the way home because I didn't want to be bothered with it no other day. Got the few things on my list and added a few more, does anyone ever stick to their list? I got a bag of grapefruits, spring mix, mushrooms, 2 packs of crab meat, 1 pack of lobster meat, pack of taco shells, pack of chicken breasts, brocolli, pack of Mexican cheese, 4 ready cut macaroni (they were on sale), jerk seasoning for a Total of $58.28

6:03 p.m. Got food with my coworker who ended up paying for my dinner.

Daily total $93.67

Saturday

10:25 am I'm still tired but I have things to do. Went online to pay for an exam $292.41. Whew my morning is off to an expensive start.

12:25 p.m. Sleep in Saturday was successful. Eggs and bacon for brunch. Now my grammy has errands to run so on the road we go.

3:15 p.m. I try this restaurant that I've been hearing about for a while. I order a cracked conch and fish fingers dinner $12. Not a bad price and comes with 2 sides. I eat half and leave the rest for later.

8:35 p.m. Chilling by a friend for a while. We warm up some left over curry pork roti so my leftovers turn into tomorrow's food.

Daily Total $304.41

Sunday

11:35 a.m. Intermittent fasting at its finest. A cup of tea until I'm ready to warm up my leftovers from yesterday

2:30 p.m. Ate the leftovers with zero cost to me win

I didn't eat dinner because I felt full from lunch well into the night so I just drank water the rest of the night.

Daily total $0

Monday

7:25 a.m. turned alarm off. Woke up at 8:06 a.m. like how did I get back to being on the verge of lateness? Gotta rush because clocking in is now a policy so grapefruit and tea it was when I got to my desk. I had roti pre-packed for lunch so just had to grab it out the fridge.

12:25 p.m. Somone offers to buy me lunch then they tell me come pick up the money to go for the food. Of course I accepted and kept the money instead of buying the food and went back to work to warm up my roti WIN! That's a gain of $13.

7:46 p.m. A phone call woke me up from my nap now I'm hungry. I don't really want to cook so stovetop popcorn it is because I don't really want anything heavy. I made tuna to take for lunch tomorrow with a wrap while I waited on the popcorn; look at me adulting.

Daily total negative (read gain) $13

Tuesday

7:59 a.m. My alarm has stopped and I know it's time to get up but I lay down until 8:10 a.m. I carried a grapefruit and plum to work for breakfast and drank tea.

10:17 a.m. Had to purchase my airline ticket to take the exam before the price increases too much $299.07 one shot.

12:15 p.m. I made my tuna wrap for lunch and drank tea because my stomach felt like I had gas. I also had a pack of peanuts that I had in my bag. It was raining so I'm glad I brought lunch and didn't have to go out even though a break from the office would've been nice.

5:30 p.m. My head is hurting a bit. I think it's because my body is craving sugar and I'm refraining so I'll eat an early dinner. Peas soup is nice in the rainy weather.

Daily total $299.07

Wednesday

8:49 a.m. I left the house in good time to get to work. My commute is not long which you probably gathered from reading the past 6 days. I had some tuna left so I carried that to work with bread to make a sandwich and have tea and a grapefruit for breakfast.

12:19 p.m. I didn't pre-pack lunch because I made up my mind from yesterday that I will take advantage of Domino's 50% off special before it goes because that's the only time I eat pizza. So I ordered a handmade pan (the beauty in the black box) with sausage, beef, and mushrooms for $10.64 which I used my gained lunch money to pay for with $2 leftover.

3:52 p.m. My reminder popped up to pay my life insurance ugh I just suck my teeth anytime I see a bill reminder. Anyway adulting right so $154.88 is paid via my insurance company’s new online payment system and I love the convenience. I mean they never really had a long line when I go in the morning before work but now that's a stop I don't have to make = more sleep time.

6:05 p.m. I didn't eat all the pizza at lunch so I have one slice for dinner with a cup of tea to make the grease go down (old people children I know)

Daily total $165.57

Weekly total $849.72

Whew that total makes my stomach cringe a bit but most of it is my exam which is not an every month expense. Just have to pay to live and improve myself which in turns improves my quality of life. I'm doing much better on not buying food out which I am super proud of. I'll try to keep it up as long as I can.
I track my spending daily anyway so I knew where my money went and what I did bad and good on but seeing it like this makes me want to spend even less buying food because clearly I can do it.
